Another wonderful gathering in Coaticook!

Our 28th annual meeting was held at Resto-Bar l’Épervier, where 34 people came together in a friendly atmosphere. A big thank you to Daniel Pomerleau, Marie-Marthe Pomerleau, and Sylvain Vachon for their excellent organization, as well as to everyone for your presence and good cheer.

In this third "Le Copechagnière" newsletter of the year, you can read the seventh part of the text from the book written by Cécile Pomerleau about her ancestor Henrius, entitled "Happiness in the Face of Misery." You will also find a superb summary of our gathering on September 6, 2025, written by Léandre Vachon, accompanied by magnificent photos by Réjean Charest.

Already on our way to our 2026 gathering!

We are already planning our next gathering, scheduled for 2026. We are considering holding it in Beauce, a region that is very important to our association. The location is yet to be determined. A three-person committee is already working to prepare this event, which promises to be just as unifying and festive. Your comments and suggestions are welcome.

Here is an autumnal poem taken from Gaston Miron's "L'homme rapaillé"
